What is Asset Finance?
Asset finance is a secured lending facility utilized to acquire high-value operational equipment, machinery, vehicle fleets, or technology, with the asset itself serving as collateral.
Purpose of Asset Finance
The main purpose of asset finance is to modernize business operations, upgrade technology, or expand operational capacity without depleting critical working capital reserves.
Types of Asset Finance that we can arrange
Chattel Mortgage (Equipment Loan): This facility allows the business to take ownership of the asset from day one, while the lender registers a mortgage over it, providing access to tax depreciation and GST benefits.
Finance Lease: In this arrangement, the financier purchases and retains ownership of the asset, renting it to the business for a fixed term, with an option for the business to purchase it at the conclusion of the lease.
Commercial Hire Purchase (CHP): This structure enables a business to hire equipment over a set term, ultimately taking ownership once the final contractual payment is made.
Novated Leasing: This is a three-way agreement connecting employer, employee, and financier, specifically designed to finance vehicles using tax-effective salary packaging.
